In our daily lives we are surrounded by devices designed to make things more easy or convenient, whether it’s the laptop we use to work from home or the car we use to run errands, these devices all have electrical or mechanical systems, all of which produce heat. That heat must be regulated and directed away from critical components. In this presentation, Maiki Vlahinos, Senior Application Engineer at nTop, discusses the past, present, and future of heat exchanger design. The majority of the focus is on Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces (TPMS) & their applicability to heat exchangers. Each design covered will show how we built on or worked in parallel with targeting different industries and aspects of the applicability of design, performance, manufacturing & validation of these complex structures.
