We have an exciting opportunity for nTop Ed, nTop’s Education Community. We’re looking for innovators, entrepreneurs, and engineering talents to present in three 15-minute academic speaking slots during our first annual thought-leadership event happening online in May 2021. We’re also giving the selected presenters $1000 to support their work.
Between now and April 2, we’re calling for abstracts. If selected, nTop will feature your work on our website and on our social media channels. More importantly, we’ll give you the opportunity to present to industry leaders during our exciting multi-day event.
The guidelines are simple. You can participate if you fall into one of these categories:
- You are a current or former member of the education community
- You are currently a student
- If you completed your studies after January 2020
If your license has expired, that’s not a problem, just contact us and we will give you an EDU license valid until the event.
We’ll be accepting submissions from individual contributors as well as teams.
To be considered, submit an abstract (link below) that includes a problem statement that you solved with the help of nTop. Be sure to include not just the problem statement but also how you solved it and its relevance. You may use existing or new work. Your work can be anything from conceptual to parts that have been fully manufactured and tested.
We’re looking for great uses of nTop in any of the following categories:
- Product Design
- Transportation
- Sports
- Materials
But, if your work doesn’t fall into one of our prescribed categories, that’s okay, create your own category! nTop is the next-generation software that helps you create transformative parts. That said, it would not be unthinkable that your work is breaking boundaries and isn’t aligned with one of our categories (which is awesome!).
The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 2nd, 2020, 23:59 ET
Below you'll find all the details you need to know.
The Categories
If you’re not sure which category your project belongs to, you can specify “other” or select a combination in your application.
The Criteria & Award
A panel of nTop experts will be selecting three winners based on the following criteria:
- Presentation (40%)
- Level of innovation and potential impact of their project (30%)
- Use of nTop (30%)
The winners will receive:
- A 15-minute presentation slot to talk about your work in front of industry leaders during our annual event
- $1000 in to support their project
- Media exposure to a global audience
Don’t miss out on a chance to get your work in front of a broader audience.
